The Schaummaxx Mixer is a static mixing tube for the Fill Repair System that ensures homogeneous mixing of the resin components just before injection. Available in flexible and extra flexible variants in sizes 6mm, 8mm and 10mm, specifically designed to navigate bends without obstructions.
Within Schaummaxx's patented Fill Repair System, the resin components are transported separately and only brought together in the Schaummaxx Mixer. The mixer's internal structure forces the fluids into a complete chemical reaction, resulting in a high-quality repair resin or foam with the right structural properties.
The flexibility of these mixers is a decisive factor in inspections and repairs in curved networks (up to 90°). Whereas standard static mixers are rigid and can jam, the "Flexible" and "Extra Flexible" variants bend with the pipe geometry. This keeps the flow constant and the pressure on the nozzle optimal.
Because Schaummaxx's PU resins have a fast reaction time (curing from 1 minute), the mixer is a single-use consumable. Timely replacement of the mixer is necessary to prevent clogging of the costly transport hoses and injection units.
