Ridgid Trident spring disconnector

Trident's biggest advantage is its universality. Instead of searching for a specific A-12 or A-13 pin, you use one tool for your entire arsenal of springs. Whether you are disconnecting a thin 16 mm spring for a sink or a heavy 32 mm C-11 cable for a main sewer, the Trident gets the job done. The steel pin is precisely sized to push in the internal locking pins of Ridgid fittings deep enough for a smooth disconnect.

Ridgid has paid close attention to the handle with the Trident. The striking red aluminum handle is not only durable, but its color also makes it easy to find in a dark work van or among the dirt on the job site. The shape sits firmly in the hand, providing considerably more comfort than the traditional metal loops of older models, especially with repeated use.

For users of the new Ridgid K-5208 machine, the Trident is a logical choice. The tool is designed to fit precisely into the designated holder on the side of the K-5208. As a result, you always have the disconnector at your fingertips the moment you pull the spring out of the machine, speeding up the workflow considerably.
