Description

Without a properly functioning sleeve, the FlexShaft loses its greatest benefits. The sleeve serves as a guide and protection. Because the sleeve does not rotate with the internal cable, there is no friction with the pipe wall or camera cable. As a result, the spring glides effortlessly through bends and you can watch live as the chain beaters do their work.

A FlexShaft sleeve gets a lot of wear and tear. After intensive use, the sleeve can wear out, especially when working in cast iron pipes or with sharp root growth. The beauty of the Ridgid system is that you don't always have to completely replace the sleeve. Special Sleeve Couplers (Sheath Couplers) allow you to cut away damaged pieces and seamlessly reconnect the sleeve, so you can get back to work quickly.
