Description

When a FlexShaft cable runs at high speeds, heat and friction is created between the internal cable and the nylon outer jacket. This official Ridgid FlexShaft lubricant contains PTFE particles that form a wafer-thin, super-smooth film. This protects the cable from premature wear and allows your drill to use less power for the same results.

It's not just the inside of the cable that benefits from lubrication. By lightly lubricating the outside of the sleeve as well, the machine glides through right-angle bends much more easily, especially in rough cast iron or concrete pipes. This allows you to feed the cable further into the pipe without the sleeve getting stuck behind bumps in the pipe wall.

A dry cable is a fragile cable. To ensure the maximum usability of your equipment, the recommendation is to thoroughly lubricate each cable in use on a monthly basis. Thanks to its water-resistant formula, the agent remains effective even in wet conditions, maintaining its stable viscosity and providing optimum protection for your cable.
