Description
Sometimes setting up the full K-1000 machine for a small obstacle or a very short section is not efficient. In those cases, the Ridgid rod turner offers a solution. By attaching the turner to the rod, you can manually build up torque. This is ideal for situations where you want to accurately feel how much resistance a blockage provides, without the risk of the machine directly overloading the rod.
Because sewer rods (rods) are much stiffer than segment springs, the rod driver is made of heavy-duty, hardened steel. The handle is designed to give you maximum leverage. This allows you to keep rotating the rod to break through roots or hard deposits even when there is significant resistance in the pipe. It's a simple, yet essential mechanical tool that increases the versatility of your K-1000 equipment.
