Description
When applying a stocking (lining), excess resin or material can collect at the bottom of the pipe due to gravity, forming a small raised edge or "lip" after curing. A standard cutter tends to keep rotating in the center of the tube. By mounting the Picote Weight in front of or behind the hub, the rotating cutter is pulled toward the bottom of the pipe. This allows you to mill away that particular edge with extreme precision without affecting the rest of the liner.
The weight comes in two sizes(Small and Large), allowing you to match the down pressure to the diameter of the pipe and rigidity of the shaft. It is a crucial part of every Picote operator's "finishing kit," designed to deliver those last percent of quality that distinguishes a professional renovation from a standard job.
