Picote Tiger Cyclone Chain
2-year manufacturer’s warranty

Technical specifications and operation
The Tiger Cyclone chain is technically designed to minimize the mechanical impact on the pipe wall without sacrificing cleaning power. Where traditional chains "slam" against the wall due to their mass, this model uses rotational speed to generate stability.
Centrifugal principle and centering
Due to the specific design, the centrifugal force forces the chain to keep rotating exactly in the axis of the pipe.
-
Wall protection: Keeping the tool centered prevents the chain from punching holes in the bottom of brittle or deteriorated pipes.
-
Even chipping: The carbide teeth hit the entire circumference of the pipe with the same pressure, resulting in a perfectly round passage.
Equipment and Durability
| Part | Feature | Advantage |
| Chain Equipment | Lightweight steel | Fast acceleration and less strain for the Picote Miller. |
| Milling heads | Extra-hard Carbide | Retains sharpness when in contact with concrete and cast iron lime (scale). |
| Mechanics | Self-Centering | Safe to use in cracked or fragile pipes. |
| Compatibility | Picote Miller Systems | Direct mounting on the flexible shaft. |
Application areas
-
Clay and ceramic pipes: Carefully remove roots without crushing socket joints.
-
Cast Iron: Efficient descaling (scale removal) where the chain restores the original diameter.
-
Concrete: Milling away light cement deposits or hard mineral deposits.
-
Renovation Preparation: Ideal for roughening walls for optimal adhesion of a new liner.
Important for the operator: Because of its lighter material, the Tiger Cyclone operates most efficiently at higher rpm. This maximizes the centrifugal force required for self-centering operation.
