Picote Hubs No Wedged are center mounting units with no wedge cutout designed for use with flat (No Wedge) sanding and polishing panels. These hubs are the standard for smaller pipe diameters(DN32 to DN70) and offer a streamlined profile for maximum maneuverability in complex bending systems.
In small kitchen or bathroom drains, space is a luxury. The No Wedged Hubs are more compact in design because they do not have to take into account the extra width of a wedge lock. This allows you to build an effective Smart Cutter™ setup that glides effortlessly through 90° bends in pipes from DN32. In this process, the panels are securely clamped between the hub and hub discs using the original Picote screws.
Many of the finer polishing panels (Polishing Panels) are only available in a No Wedge version. To use these panels for finishing touches on a liner or gently cleaning thin-walled PVC, you need these specific hubs. The No Wedged hub provides even pressure distribution over the entire surface of the panel, resulting in a mirror-smooth finish on the pipe wall.
