Description

While positioning a packer, the biggest challenge is often passing through 45° or 90° bends. Without navigation assistance, the head of the packer often collides head-on with the outside curve, which requires a lot of pushing force and can stress equipment. This navigation aid provides a rounded contact point that "lifts" the packer around the bend, so to speak, making installation faster and with less physical resistance.

Access to Laterals (Laterals).

Entering a side connection from a main is a precision job. The Packer Navigation System helps "find" the opening. The specific design makes it easier for the operator to force the packer into the correct angle to make the transition to the secondary line. This is critical in repairs that must be placed just at or after a node.
