Description

Where the standard FlexShaft cable excels in flexibility, the Ridgid FlexShaft DeadCore cable opts for brute strength. The higher stiffness means the cable swings less in the line and the rotational force of your drill translates more directly to the chain beaters. This makes the DeadCore the absolute favorite for removing hard scale, urine sludge and root residue. Note that the extra stiffness means the cable will offer a little more resistance on very sharp 90-degree turns.

The biggest innovative advantage of DeadCore technology is its core construction. With traditional cables, you run the risk of the wires unwinding or unraveling as soon as you cut the cable. DeadCore cable can be easily cut with an angle grinder without losing the structure. This allows you to repair a damaged end in the field within minutes with the corresponding repair coupler-no soldering, welding or special pressing tools required.

The DeadCore cables are fully compatible with all existing FlexShaft accessories such as brushes, chain beaters and penetrating heads. The cables feature a durable black nylon sheath that protects the pipe wall and allows for splash-free work.
