Picote PVC Cyclone Chain
1-year standard warranty

Technical specifications and operation
This model combines the "soft" approach of a carbide-free chain with the precision of Cyclone technology. This is essential for operators who must work in systems where mechanical damage can lead directly to leakage or structural failure.
Centrifugal principle and wall protection
The Cyclone design ensures that the chain does not strike the pipe uncontrollably during rotation.
-
Centered rotation: The tool stays in the axis of the pipe, allowing the chain to hit the walls evenly without hammering on the bottom of the pipe.
-
Safe for fragile pipes: Ideal for older clay pipes with cracks or thin-walled copper drains where any unnecessary impact must be avoided.
Features and Equipment
| Feature | Details | Advantage |
| Cutting Surfaces | None (carbide-free) | No risk of scratching or cutting PVC/PE. |
| Mechanics | Self-Centering | Prevents damage to the underside of the pipe. |
| Equipment | High quality polished steel | Durable and effective through friction instead of cutting. |
| Application | Descaling & light roots | Restores flow in sensitive environments. |
Application areas
-
Plastic piping (PVC/PE/PP): removing grease, soap and limescale without affecting the smooth inner surface of the plastic pipe.
-
Copper drain systems: Safe cleaning of old technical systems in buildings.
-
Light root infiltration: The effective removal of fine roots without damaging the socket joints of clay pipes.
-
Damaged systems: Cleaning prior to liner installation in pipes that have partially lost their structural integrity.
Important to the operator: The PVC Cyclone Chain delivers its best performance at high speeds. The centrifugal force required for centering is only fully utilized at a stable rotational speed, resulting in a perfectly round cleaning.
