This spare chain brings back the aggressive bite of 7-ridge technology, allowing you to mill through concrete impacts and hard deposits with surgical precision once again.

The mechanics of 3D expansion

This spare chain is specifically calibrated for use with the 3D Charger:

• Dynamic range: The chain "grows" with the available space in the pipe. The faster you run the shaft, the larger the diameter covered.

• 7-Ridge U-Carbide: The teeth feature seven cutting edges. This allows for faster pulverization of material, which is essential because the chain in a 3D route often has to handle larger amounts of dirt in one pass.

Technical Features

When is it time for replacement?

Unlike standard chains, the 3D chain relies on its mass and sharpness to reach the wall at larger diameters. Replace the chain if:

• Expansion falters: You notice that at higher speeds, the chain no longer touches the entire wall in the larger part of the pipe.

• Excessive vibration: Blunt carbide teeth create imbalance during routing, which can cause damage to the flexible shaft.

• Visible wear: The U-shaped carbide teeth are rounded or show breaks.

Operator Advice: When installing the spare chain, don't forget to also check the condition of the Leader (spring). A worn chain often goes hand in hand with a leader that has lost its tension.
